Karolinska Institutet

(Karolinska Insitutet)、Department of Medical Biochemistry and BiophysicsでAssistant Professor(PI)Dr.

Post-doctoral positions - now available

Post-doctoral positions are currently available for self-motivated individuals to study the role of calcium signaling in mammalian signal transduction at the Karolinska Institute, Sweden.
A range of exciting and cutting-edge projects are available investigating the role of calcium signaling in mammalian cells as well as fundamental signaling mechanisms of calcium oscillations. A strong development and/or disease oriented emphasis is placed on many of these areas of study. Our interdisciplinary team consists of researchers with different backgrounds, spanning from physics to molecular biology. Sophisticated imaging techniques, such as ratiometric fluorescence microscopy and two-photon confocal microscopy, as well as a wide range of approaches from molecular biology to mouse genetic strategies are employed to tackle these problems.

Required background experience of applicant: PhD with experience/interest in molecular/cell biology and/or calcium signaling and/or cell imaging

Supervisor/host: Per Uhlen

Period: 1-4 year(s)

Position/project financed: Yes

Place: Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics, Karolinska Institutet, STOCKHOLM, Sweden

Application: Selected applicants will be interviewed. Applicants should send their CV and indicate their scientific interests to per.uhlen@ki.se
