Washington University Medical School ポスドク募集

We are currently seeking ambitious and talented postdoctoral fellows with expertise in the analysis of transgenic mice and/or computational methods with an interest in applying those skills to the study of neurological disorders. Our research lab is focused in three general areas:

1) Genetic networks involved in regulating myelination to further our understanding of peripheral neuropathy (CMT diseases).
2) Role of neuronal metabolism, SIRT proteins, and mitochondrial function in regulating axonal integrity and neuronal stress responses and their roles in neurological disorders.
3) Function of Ret tyrosine kinase receptor and GFLs in regulating nervous system function during development and neurodegenerative disease (e.g. Parkinson’s).

We use a variety of techniques in the lab including computational methods, ChIP assays, lentivirus driven siRNA, in vitro myelination and axonal degeneration assays, mitochondrial function, and analysis of mutant mice.

Interested candidates should submit their CV and contact information for 3 references by email to: Jeffrey Milbrandt, MD, PhD at Washington University Medical School, St. Louis, MO 63110
