A post doctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Haochu Huang to dissect molecular mechanisms that regulate B cell tolerance and autoantibodies in mouse models of autoimmune diseases. The studies will involve molecular, cellular and genetic approaches.

A Ph.D. in biomedical sciences is required. Experience in immunology is prefered but not required. Specific research activities will include analyzing lymphoid compartments and sorting specific cell populations using multi-color flowcytometry, cell culture, ELISA, ELISPOT, generation of various constructs including lentiviral/retroviral RNAi knock-down vectors and techniques for mice experimentation. The successful candidate will work closely with PI and scientists in the Knapp Center for Lupus and Immunology Research and Department of Medicine, Section of Rheumatology.
