Dr.James Hsieh Labで新たに日本人ポスドク（複数名）を募集しています。現在、ラボはWashington University in St.Louisにありますが、今年中にニューヨークにあるスローン-ケタリング記念がんセンターに移動、拡充されます。
　研究分野は表向きは分子腫瘍学が中心となっていますが、臨床に近い内容（白血病モデルから各種固形腫瘍の病態病理など）、基礎生物学的な内容（神経発生、精子形成、細胞周期、ボディープラン、幹細胞生物学など）、共同研究として細胞死全般（奥さんのDr.Emily Chengの研究分野）まで幅広く展開しており、主に培養細胞と各種KOマウス、KIマウスを研究材料としています。研究設備などは最新のものが揃っています。研究室としては別になりますが研究体制としてDr.Emily Chengグループと融合しており、研究設備、試薬、Journal Club、Research Seminarなどは共有されています。現在、日本人は学生が一人在籍しており、Dr.Chengグループにポスドクが今年中に一人参加するはずです。
　研究成果も順調に出ており、Dr.James HsiehがDr.Stanley Korsmeyer Labから独立して５年でG&D（2006）、Mol. Cell(2006, 2009)、PNAS(2009)、　Cancer research(2010)、Nature (in press)などのトップジャーナルに掲載されています。詳細はHPを御覧ください。http://cheng-hsiehlab.im.wustl.edu/home.htm

Post-doctoral positions available for highly motivated candidates with background in biochemistry, molecular biology, drug development, and/or mouse genetics to join a research group studying the fundamental mechanisms of cell cycle, cell death, and cancer (Cell: 115, 293; Genes & Dev: 20, 2397; Mol Cell: 36, 487; Cancer Research: 70, 5358; Nature, 2010). Applicants should hold a PhD and/or MD degree and have strong laboratory, analytical skills and publication records.
