NEUROSCIENTIST POST-DOCTORAL FELLOW JOB OPENING

Laboratory of Joshua Corbin, PhD
Center for Neuroscience Research
CHILDREN'S NATIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
WASHINGTON, DC USA

The Corbin lab has an open NIH-funded post-doctoral position for a neuroscientist to study development and molecular biology of the mouse olfactory system. The recruit will join a collegial, collaborative and highly productive group with a specific focus on elucidation of the link between embryonic brain developmental mechanisms and the establishment sexually dimorphic limbic system circuitry and related behaviors (e.g. Hirata et al., Nature Neuroscience, 2009; Sokolowski et al., Frontiers in Molecular Neuroscience, 2012). The lab is located within 12,000 feet of newly renovated open lab space in the Center for Neuroscience Research at Children’s National Medical Center. The Center is renowned for the study of development and function/dysfunction of the CNS, with strengths in genetic mouse models of developmental disorders, neuroembryology, molecular and cellular manipulation of the developing brain and circuit function. The position will be open starting Spring 201!
