Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan

Job Summary
The Seo lab at the University of Michigan seeks a postdoctoral research fellow for a 2-year NIH-funded position (with possible extension) to study cell and molecular biology of metals with relevance to metabolic and neurological diseases. The Salary range: $48,000 ~ $55,000 per year, plus a competitive benefits package and the opportunity to appoint and supervise one or more paid undergraduate to work on projects of your choice.

Required Qualifications
We are looking for a highly-motivated individual who meets the qualification below.
• PhD in molecular and cell biology/biochemistry/genetics/neuroscience or related discipline.
• Experience with knockout, Crispr/Cas9, and transgenic mice.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications*
• Publications demonstrating research experience and productivity.
• Preferably within the first two years of receiving a PhD degree.
