Research Fellow position at Kyushu University Hospital

A Research Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Takahiro Maeda, M.D., Ph.D. at Kyushu University Hospital. Our laboratory uses gene editing and molecular/cellular biological techniques to elucidate the molecular basis of the globin switch and to develop novel therapeutics for sickle cell disease (SCD).

The applicant must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree and one or more first author publications in peer reviewed journals. Recent graduates are particularly encouraged to apply. The applicant should also have a strong background in biochemistry and molecular biology.
