Postdoctoral Fellowship: Genetic and Mechanistic Studies of X-linked Dystonia Parkinsonianism

A postdoctoral position is available within the Erwin lab (erwinlab.org) at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development and Johns Hopkins Department of Neurology to study the mechanisms leading to X-linked Dystonia Parkinsonism. The applicant would be working with a team of researchers on projects using human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) models, brain tissue and single cell genomics to investigate the role of retrotransposons and Taf1 disruption in pathology. Individuals with stem cells, (epi)genomics, genetics, developmental neuroscience and/or computational experience would be particularly well suited.
