Duke University School of Medicine Postdoctoral Positions

Postdoctoral position is available at the Yildirim Lab (http://www.cellbio.duke.edu/eda-yildirim/) located at the Department of Cell Biology of the Duke University School of Medicine in Durham North Carolina USA. We are looking for a creative, accomplished and highly motivated applicant who is interested in research involving noncoding RNA mediated epigenetic mechanisms and the role of these processes in cancer.

Preferred Qualifications
• Ph.D. (or doctoral degree equivalent) in Biochemistry, Genetics, or Cell Biology with a track record of publication in peer-reviewed journals
• Expertise in stem cell biology, chromosome biology, epigenetics or genome instability are preferred but not a requirement
• Ability to perform molecular & cellular protocols utilizing hematopoietic cells (i.e. animal bone marrow transplantation models, FACS-, and virus-based assays) and mouse disease models
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
