アラバマ大学バーミンガム校 (UAB)の中野研では新たにポスドクを若干名募集しております。

テーマ：
intratumoral and intertumoral heterogeneity in brain cancer,
development of novel mechanistic concept for glioblastoma cellular hierarchy and plasticity,
therapeutic development for primary and metastatic brain cancers

脳腫瘍外科医のPI(Ichiro Nakano)と共同研究者が、手術で摘出する脳腫瘍手術サンプルから樹立した、癌幹細胞の培養系と動物モデルを主に用いて、メカニズム解析からの新たなコンセプトの樹立と治療法の同定と患者への適応を主なテーマとしています。

財源：
現在４つのNIH/R01 grantがあります。最も新しいものは来年から始まり５年間あります。

最近の業績：
当ラボからの仕事としては、Mao P et al., PNAS 2013; Kim et al., Cancer Research 2014; Cheng et al, Stem Cell Reports 2015; Kim et al, Cell Death & Diff 2015; Kim et al Stem Cell Reports 2015; Kim et al Cancer Cell 2016; Cheng et al, Cancer Res 2016; Wang et al, JCI 2017; Sadahiro et al., Cancer Res 2018; Pavlyukov et al, Cancer Cell 2018; Minata et al., Cell Reports [in press]などがあります。

また当ラボの特徴として、共同研究として米国内、ヨーロッパ、日本、シンガポール、韓国、中国など計６０を超えるプロジェクトが継続しています（臨床サンプルからのtranslational research)。チームに加わった方々は、興味のあるプロジェクトに随時参加できます。共同研究から生まれて来ている論文も近年多数ありますので、詳細はPubmedでご確認ください。
